Lauryn Hill

Hello everyone who is not a fan of Lauryn Hill :-) planning on making you become one right after reading this post. That's right there is a musician, lady, human out there who I'm sure didn't get your attention yet, but I'm really hoping of changing that. Lauryn Hill, coming straight at ya!!!

Looking at the picture above I'm sure most of you guys are like “hmmm, I saw this cover somewhere...”, but the real question you should be asking yourself is “why haven't I listened to this album yet?”. Well, I did and really hoping this post will make you fall in love with Lauryn's music and get all the vibes I got from her music. You see unfortunately, Lauryn Hill is known for the fact that she left show business in 2000 (but I guess that I wouldn't bore you with this aspect of her life). The thing is that Lauryn Hill is a very religious person and for this religious reason, she left showbiz in a search for a reclusive existence (admire this, but what a loss of talent if you ask me). Talent which you could feel being pure when you listen to Lauryn singing and rapping in the Fugees band (yeah that's right she was the lead female rapper in this cult band, but about them a bit later).

Anyway the thing is that Lauryn remains one of those artists who really moved me emotionally. Remember listening to the album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" from begining to end over and over. Really moving and touching indeed. So if you are out there in search of someting that will touch you emotionally Lauryn is the definitely an album to look for.
