Pulp Fiction

Hi everyone, finally the poll regarding best Tarantino movie is over. And for once my opinion is same with you guys, well at least with the majority of you guys. That's right "Pulp Fiction" is still as deeply embedded in our hearts.

So do those of you who don't know what "Pulp Fiction" is, well what can I say, I pity you. This movie is the kind of phenomenon you rarely see these days. It was indeed such a sensation that even the guys in the "Cannes film festival  had no other choice, but to give it a "Palme D'or" (an award which in my opinion is definitely the highest there can be when it comes to movies). So yeah, got the Palme D'or and went on to become something of a cult film. Still doesn't ring a bell? Maybe this poster will? Here have a look:

Pulp fiction is the kind of movie that gets a hold of you from the very beginning. I mean from the very first scene you ask yourself "what the hell is going on?" and although everything might seem straight forward and understandable, and to be honest quite predictable as well the plot and acting just gets better and better as the plot unveils itself. To have a better idea of what I'm talking about, here have a look at this trailer might be informative.

I guess after watching the trailer you got that this is one hell of a violent film. Well don't want to contradict this, but just want to say that in comparison to what we see on TV everyday, this movie will really seem "light". I never understood critics who say that there is too much violence in Cinema and at the same time forget to talk about the abundance of immoral, violent and in fact stupid things we are being exposed to on a daily basis. Isn't it awful? I honestly think it's a shame. So watching violence the way it's presented in "Pulp Fiction" isn't such a dangerous thing, when you really think about it.

So back to the movie. I know most of you watched it, so I guess telling you about the characters and plot is a pointless thing to do. So I will like to refresh the minds of all fans and viewers, by showing you guys what I consider to be some of the best moments in this movie. Will be expecting your feedback as regards to what you appreciate in this film or any other interesting facts you can tell everyone about this film. So here are these cult scenes, scenes which could only be created by such a director with a capital "D" as Quentin Tarantino.
