Africa

Hello everyone how's your day so far? Good? Then that's good!!! Came across a picture recently. A picture which is in my opinion yet the best description of the perception I have of Africa right now and please don't get me wrong, I'm not a pessimist. Just take some time to read what I have to say on this issue.

First of all, when you look at this photo you might think that Africa is really one of those places you should avoid going to, right? Well my answer to this will be "Yes & No". You see the thing is that I left this wonderful continent 8 years ago in order to as many people find a better place of living. This place was my second homeland "Russia" (a bit later about the details of this move). 

So due to this 8 year gap from reality my opinion of Africa might be a bit biased, but in general I want to say that Africa is indeed one of those places that you love or hate. And I for one find myself falling in love with it more and more recently. Despite all the wars, corruption, disease, famine, tribalism and others are really recurrent there, I still perceive this continent as a unique place to be. With unique values, lifestyle, people and everything. Just feel that it's very unfortunate that despite all the attempts to remove this perception form the collective perception of Africa, the situation is getting worse from day to day in fact. Moreover it seems that this continent will be completely abandoned if it weren't for the resources present there. In short a real shame which in my opinion won't change in the nearest future.
