Hi
guys once more, how has been your week so far? Hope well. Still
remember "Alterleo" and the post about music? Well lets
keep going and talk about music a bit more.
Our second star
:-) or I would say stars will be "Raw soul" and a bit on a
more personal level my "brother from another mother",
"Antonio Oies"!!!
And no surprise here once more also a friend of mine. Actually have known this guy since the good old days where everyone called him "Banderas" for reasons yet to be known. He was, you know the kind of guy wandering around the streets of our beautiful city, Tver, dreadlocks on the head and earphones in his ears. Now a member of the "Raw soul" community. A community which in my opinion ought to do turn our city upside (and why not the world).

You can join the community right now, right here.
Why "Raw
Soul"? Anton says that it is connected with the fact that "Raw
Soul" wants to associate itself with "Raw music" (not
that you usually cook music :-) ), music made not for promotional purposes,
but for the very "soul and roots" of music which we all
know is a means of expressing our self through melody and rhythm So
getting back to the community. Indeed, despite the fact that I love
the city where I live, I understand as a melo - man and DJ myself that
if there is one great aspect lacking in our city it would definitely be "culture". Yes, there are several clubs, cafes and
restaurants. Coming to think of it there are actually a lot of them.
In fact so many that one can say that Tver is a Cafe – city :-) but
this doesn't help the fact that when one wants to listen to or bounce
along with some good vibe Tver dwellers usually go to neighboring cities like Moscow and St. Petersburg. Simply because the quality of
most DJs here in Tver doesn't match the true standards we all
have. But don't worry "Raw soul" is coming for your
rescue:-)
All members of
"Raw soul", were initially residents in a club – bar
called "HP" here in Tver and that was one hell of a nightclub, whenever I went there with friends. A real "Sex, drugs and Rock
'n' Roll" ambiance this guys succeeded in maintaining throughout
the night, over and over again. Now playing in "Kultura", a well known club in Tver and to speak the truth, in my opinion the
best club (ambiance wise) there is so far (but of course as usual that's just an
opinion). So now playing in Kultura, "Raw soul" is trying
to create something they call their own "tusovka" (something
that means gathering or community in Russian slang), but not a closed
and exclusive one, but rather a place where people might
want to go to in order to listen to some quality music, have fun and maybe something else :-). So this and all Fridays and Saturdays at 00:00, you know where to go, to listen to some great music!!!
If you are interested in the music these guys make check out the link below:

ReplyDeleteYeah!!! That's right Serge, the louder the better
ReplyDeleteHP is the last and the only "freadom island" in Tver.

ReplyDeleteSo you like HP Denis? That's really cool... didn't know that:-)
ReplyDeleteYeah. I was there just a couple of times. But I was impressed by the music which had been playing there. Especially comparing it with musical policy of other clubs in this city..
ReplyDeleteBTW I was intrigued by the RS. Seems like have to check out.. )
ReplyDeleteyeah they really make, play good music a really young group of enthusiasts))))At least interested an old timer like myself. Talking about the musical policy of clubs in Tver, just switch on to Europa plus radio station and there you' ve got it)))) the musical policy)))
